T.J. Daly, business guy/founding partner
Prior to founding StreamLine TimberWorks, he was the CEO of Dreaming Creek Timber Frame Homes. Before landing in the timber frame world Mr. Daly raised and managed a $25 million early stage venture capital fund based in Richmond, Va. Prior to getting into the venture capital business, Mr. Daly was a technology investment banker with First Union. His experience as an investment banker and venture capitalist, coupled with being the CFO of an Inc. 500 company early in his career gives him a unique view of entrepreneurship. He also spent some time as a commercial loan officer with Bank of America.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University as well as a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He is very involved in the community in Richmond VA as a board member of the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg where he chairs the Donor Relations Committee. He also serves on the board of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central VA Chapter where he chairs the Programs Task Force Committee.
He is also a Trustee on the United Way Endowment Foundation Board. He lives in Richmond, with his wife and two sons.
