Brian Ward, design guy
Brian earned his bachelor's degree in Architectural History at the University of Virginia while also pursing interests in woodworking and timber framing. After graduating, he spent several years in the field rebuilding historic 19th century hand-hewn log cabins around the Blue Ridge, and in spare time in the shop he designed and built custom furniture. Shortly thereafter, he received his contractor's license from the state of Virginia and became an editor of the Timber Framers Guild, working on curriculum development for the timber framer apprentice. Brian loves the mountain life and any activities involving it, including hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and camping. To see any of his many pursuits, his personal furniture gallery.
